Have you ever had a hard time hanging Christmas stockings because let's be honest, not a lot of us have a mantle or even a fireplace these days! Some house layouts have stairwell railing far from your Christmas tree, so it takes the joy out of opening Santa's presents. That's why I thought it would be great to utilize a blanket or towel ladder to display our stockings during Christmas.
What you'll need:
Blanket Ladder
Shower Curtain Hooks
Christmas Stockings
Optional:
Following our ornament diy to write down the names of everyone
I'm using Ikea's Vilto ladder because I liked the flexibility of the open bottom. Unfortunately, it looks like it's been discontinued, so I'll recommend the Yamazaki leaning tower ladder. I've used this in previous projects because I love its clean lines and sleek design. It has a touch of wood, so it's perfect to use anywhere in your home!
All you'll need to do is hang your stockings on the horizontal bars and place them in a staggered motion. You could add a garland or lights too to give it more depth and dimension.
Option 1: Personalize each stocking by following our DIY on how to add calligraphy to your clear ornaments.
Option 2: You could add a bow and ribbon onto a wood letter to give it a personal touch!
This wraps up our stocking ladder tutorial! I hope makes your holidays that much more magical and stay safe! Make sure you follow us on our Instagram and tag us in your Christmas stocking ladder!
